A quick trip over to Beeston for a meeting, and holding the meeting walking around the park was both very enjoyable and gave me a chance to get some pictures

A set of shots taken on Evington Park in Leicester in the Autumn of 2016.

Somewhere I have visited regularly over the years, and although it is dominated by sports pitches and tennis courts it is also good for walking and has some really picturesque areas.

Even deep into autumn there are still some lovely blooms in evidence....

though many others are past their best... although still attractive and interesting....

The colours here are natural, and positively uplifting on the park...

a quiet corner for mums to sit with their children, safe and quiet....

or to huddle down with a picnic and quiet cigarette.
