Calke Abbey Car Park Bird Hide; 10th January 2017

If you love watching birds especially woodland birds, or only have a passing interest, you could not do much better than a visit to the car park hide at Calke Abbey. It looks out on a small clearing in the woods, with well stocked feeders and a constant stream of birds. This particular visit we got one or two special treats with the arrival of Redpoll, Siskin and Long Tailed Tits as well as all the usual suspects.
