Loughborough Fair 10th November 2016

Back in the 1970's and 80's a trip tp Loughborough Fair was a must... a bus over there, meet a friend, walk arounfd the fair and sample every hot dog stall and pub in the area... and once we even went on a ride. I hadn't been since then until this year... when i was keen to go and try my hand at photographing a fair... and also the people there enjoying it.

Twycross Zoo 3rd November 2016

There are different opinions of zoo... and the morality of keeping animals in them. For me, there is not one answer that covers all zoos. Twycross Zoo does a tremendous amount of work around conservation of habitat & species as well as significant education work. The animals there all appear to be well housed and cared for, and there is always development work going on... extending the zoo, extending the range of species and improving the enclosures... all of which appear to be spacious and comfortable for the animals.

The zoo has always specialised in monkeys and apes, and still does, thought the range of species is becoming more diverse.

The people on New Walk, Leicester: 2nd November 2016

Walking along New Walk, and taking advantage of the benches along the walk and on the squares gives plenty of scope for people watching...  and people all relax in their own ways... especially on a nice day. It also gives scope to photograph them.... these are some of my shots....

Victoria Park and New Walk, Leicester 2nd November 2016

A walk across Victoria Park and down New Walk on 2nd November looking for autumn colours... never fails...
A much loved and used thoroughfare, New Walk. It remains a beautiful tree-lined piece of Leicester, despite the modernisation of many of the buildings
