Calke Abbey Bird Hide 6th November 2016

Calke Abbey in Ticknall, Derbyshire is a National Trust property with a Baroque House and beautiful extensive grounds, however for me the greatest attraction is the small shed in the corner of the car park, It is a hide... looking out on a clearing in the woods which is equipped with a range of bird feeders. They always seems to be busy, attracting a wide range of garden and woodland birds as well as Grey Squirrel and occasionally a rat.
