Canon Ashby Priory 22nd September 2017

Canon Ashby Priory, in Northamptonshire, is an Elizabethan manor house now under the management of the National Trust.

The house was built close to the old Priory and the village of Ashby. The village is long gone, and the Priory was lost in the dissolution, leaving just a truncated church, directly across the road from the house.
