Brandon Marsh, on the edge of Coventry is a superb wetland nature reserve, with several lakes, scrapes, and most importantly for this particular trip, Kingfishers showing brightly for most of the day.
It was an early morning start, arriving in a cold hazy mist, but that burned off during the morning into a beautiful sunny day, before clouding over as we left.
By way of a bonus... it has a rather fine café!!!
