Lichfield Cathedral: 30th November 2017

Had meant to visit Lichfield Cathedral for ages, so when the day dawned cold and sunny, it was timeto make the trip... andwell worth the visit it is. The cathedral does stand out as different being red brick, and the front is highly decorated with statues and figures.. much to look at and admire.

Calke Abbey: 6th November 2017

A morning at Calke Abbey, spent in the bird hide, where there is always a good range of birds to watch, and this time, a quick walk around the grounds to look at the outside of the house and chapel, as well as seeing some of the animals roaming n the grounds.
