Beacon Hill, on the edge of Leicester by Swithland Woods and Bradgate Park, has a number of attractions for the visitor and walker. At the top, by the main car park, are rocks which are perfect for children to climb and play on, panoramas of the surrounding countryside including views over Loughborough, and a number of walks through the woods. In summer you are likely to find Longhorn Cattle grazing on the grass around the rocks.
The loneliness of the long distance cyclist... A lone cyclist silhouetted against the sky
on top of the rocks at the top of Beacon Hill
